A suitable accessory system extends the versatility of a portable valve actuator. Interchangeable adapters, offset drive attachments and torque reaction components help accommodate different handwheel designs, projecting valve stems and restricted installation spaces.

Adjustable Handwheel Adapters

Adjustable arms and engagement fingers connect the actuator to compatible valve handwheels. The contact positions can be configured to suit the handwheel diameter and spoke arrangement, providing stable engagement for opening and closing.

Open-Centre Drive Attachments

An open-centre drive attachment provides clearance for the projecting stem of a rising-stem valve. It transmits rotation to the handwheel or operating interface while allowing the stem to move through the central opening.

The bore diameter and available clearance must accommodate the valve stem throughout its full travel.

Offset Drive Adapters

Offset drive arrangements position the motor away from the valve’s operating axis, improving access where a projecting stem, adjacent pipework or surrounding equipment prevents direct alignment. Drive Interfaces and Couplings
